Who Sings With Us
The Holiday Singers is a professional vocal ensemble based in the Charlotte region, bringing holiday classics and seasonal favorites to life at events throughout the area and beyond.
We bring together singers from a wide variety of musical backgrounds, including professional performers, church choirs, community ensembles, and school and college music programs. What unites us is a love of music, careful preparation, and the ability to blend as part of a team.
We are especially seeking tenors and baritones.
What We Value
Strong music-reading skills are helpful, but we value preparation, reliability, flexibility, and ensemble awareness just as highly. Singers should be comfortable learning music independently and arriving prepared for performances and rehearsals.
What You Can Expect
- Paid gigs, currently $110 and up, depending on engagement length
- Small ensemble performance opportunities throughout the holiday season
- Music prepared independently, with limited rehearsals focused on ensemble work
- Singers provide their own Victorian-inspired attire and maintain a performance-ready music binder
- Reliable transportation to performances is required; singers often carpool to events outside the Charlotte region
- Audition required for all singers

In this performance, we sing Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer to a very young audience member. The baby takes in the colors and sounds while the family enjoys the moment with us.
